Subscriptions & timeline funding

FM2Y sells account memberships (including Family plans covering up to five owned timelines), per-timeline annual funding, and paid-through-age-25 packages. Recurring subscriptions renew until canceled. Paid-through-age-25 purchases are one-time payments that fund preservation through the child's 25th birthday horizon unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Age-18 lock & continue-on

Child timelines lock for new contributions at the configured transfer age (default 18). Normal in-app viewing for contributors ends unless the owner continues the timeline under an active paid plan. Included preservation and download windows through age 25 are not removed when you choose to continue-on after 18.

Suspended / download-only

If active funding lapses, timelines may enter a suspended state: no new posts, limited in-app access, with download/export available to the billing owner.

Contributor funding

Payments labeled as timeline preservation contributions are non-refundable and do not grant ownership, admin rights, download rights, USB recipient control, or additional permissions.

Storage add-ons

Extra storage is timeline-scoped. If an add-on expires, existing files remain but new uploads may be blocked until usage is under cap or the add-on is renewed.

USB fulfillment

Only the timeline owner may designate USB recipients and shipping addresses. Physical fulfillment may be handled by a third-party partner.

Refunds

Except where required by law, contributor preservation payments are final. Subscription refunds follow Stripe and our support policies.

Data security & access

Media files uploaded to FM2Y are stored in a private vault and are never accessible via public URL. Access is enforced per-timeline — only users the owner has invited may view content. Every access event is logged with a timestamp, user identity, and IP address.

FM2Y is built with the strictest data security standards in mind, including private storage, access controls, audit logging, and encryption in transit and at rest.
