imagine them at 18, putting on headphones.

Here’s the thing nobody tells you.

You’re taking the photos. You’re not keeping them.

There are thousands on your phone, filed next to screenshots of parking spots. The good video is on your partner’s phone. Grandma’s pictures are three hundred messages up the group text.

And the things you most want to keep never get saved at all. The sound of their voice at four. The way they said “pasghetti.” The bedtime question that broke your heart on a Tuesday. Their voice changes, and nobody tells you the day it happens.

FM2Y is a private timeline for one child. You and up to three people you invite add photos, video, voice notes, milestones and sealed letters as life happens. It stays in order.

Imagine them at 18, putting on headphones. They press play. It’s you, the night before their first day of school. Then grandma, reading the book she used to read to you. Then their own voice at four, asking where the moon goes in the daytime.

How it works

  1. Start their timeline.

Make a free account with your email, Google or Apple. Add your child’s name and birthday, and a photo if you have one.
  2. Save it as it happens.

A photo from the park. Thirty seconds of their voice. A first tooth. A letter sealed until their 16th birthday. Invite up to three people to add theirs.

What goes in

    photos and video

Photos keep their full resolution, up to 50 MB each. The first-steps video goes right beside them.

    voice notes

Record it right on the page, up to 10 minutes. Their voice at four. Grandpa telling the one about the dog.

    milestones

First tooth, first day of school, first ride without help. Marked so the story reads in order.

Write to who they’ll be at 16, pick the day it opens, and read it with them. Free holds five.

the bedtime question, saved.

Their voice is going to change.Nobody tells you the day.

Photos are everywhere. The voice is what disappears: the made-up words, the long story about a dream, the “one more minute” at bedtime.

Record it right on the page, up to ten minutes at a time. Nothing to install. It sits on the timeline next to the photo from the same day. Grandma can record hers from her kitchen table, and it goes in their story, not up a thread.

Some things they can’t hear yet.Write them down anyway.

Write it now and pick the day it opens, like their 16th birthday. Until a letter’s date, the rest of the family sees only the envelope. You, your co-admins and the person who wrote it can open one early, and if you ask, we can open it for everyone.

Free holds five sealed letters, shared by everyone on the timeline.

This is a sample. On a real timeline, the rest of the family sees only the envelope until the date. Then you read it together.

The firsts, marked so you can find them again

First tooth, first steps, first day of preschool, first ride without help. Mark a post as a milestone and it shows as a medal on the timeline, easy to find at 18. Flip it over for the story behind it.

Give their timeline a look of its own

Pick a cover for the top of their timeline, with a matching background behind every memory, and change it when the season or the story changes. The memories never change: every post keeps the look the person who saved it chose.

Original, Corkboard and Kraft & Twine are free on every timeline. Seven more themes, and a cover made from your own family photo, aren’t part of Free.

You decide who can do what

Free has room for you and three people.

Each person gets their own switches.

  • Your partner, as co-admin: helps you run it. They can post, approve and invite. They can’t hand the timeline over, change who owns it, or remove you.
  • Grandma, as contributor: posts photos and voice notes, and you OK them first.
  • A family friend, as viewer: can look, can’t post.

The switches, in plain words: add posts · approve posts · invite others · edit the timeline · delete any post · choose who sees a post.

grandma posts. you OK it.

Family posts wait for an OK from you or a co-admin until you turn that off, and you can keep it on for just one person. Invites go by email and expire after 7 days. Change anyone’s switches, or remove them, any time.

Grandma doesn’t need to install anything. She opens the link in her invite email, makes a free account so the timeline knows it’s her, and posts from her phone’s browser or a computer. Joining is free, and it doesn’t use up her own free timeline.

FM2Y accounts are for people 18 and older. Kids don’t get accounts. Their voices go in through yours.

Kids already in school?

In a timeline’s first 30 days, you can date a post any day in the past, so the photos already on your phone land where they belong: the hospital, the first bath, the first birthday. After that, new posts can be dated up to a week back.

Tip: set aside one evening in the first month, and invite grandma the same week. Her camera roll has the ones yours doesn’t.

Questions parents ask

Does grandma need to install anything?

No. She opens the link in her invite email and uses FM2Y in her browser, on a phone or a computer. She makes a free account so the timeline knows it’s her.

Do the people I invite pay?

No. Joining is free, they never need a card, and joining your timeline doesn’t use up their own free one.

Who counts toward “three people”?

Everyone you invite and haven’t removed, including a co-admin like your partner. Invites that haven’t been accepted count too, until they expire after 7 days.

Can my partner help run it?

Yes. Make them a co-admin and they can post, approve and invite. Co-admins can’t hand the timeline over, change who owns it, or remove you.

Can my kid have their own account?

Not before 18. FM2Y accounts are for people 18 and older. Record them on your phone and post it yourself.

Can I start a timeline for each of my kids?

Not on one account. Free includes one timeline per account. You can still join any timeline someone invites you to.

Do you pull photos from my camera roll or our group texts?

No. You and your family add things yourselves, from your phones or computers. Nothing comes in on its own, and nothing goes out.

What happens when I get close to 5 GB?

We’ll let you know as you get close, and at 5 GB new uploads pause. Nothing you’ve saved is deleted.

Can I change who sees what later?

Yes. Change anyone’s switches, or remove them, any time.

Do you sell my kid’s data, or use our photos in your ads?

No. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising. We never share or use your family’s photos to promote FM2Y. Every photo of people on these pages is AI-generated.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. FM2Y works in the browser on any phone or computer. Nothing to install.

They won’t stay little.
